House2Home Comedy FUNdraiser

April 21, 2023

Sarah Lakey and Sean T. Hughes produced House2Home’s 2023 Clean Comedy Fundraiser. Sean, AKA The Balloon Guy, delivered a hilarious set, as did four local comics: Paula Kosienski, Carollynn Xavier, Caleb McCraw, and headliner Moody Molavi. Moody has featured on Dry Bar Comedy and drove the giddy audience to belly laughs. We had a lot of fun, and it all went to a good cause – supporting House2Home Nashville’s God-inspired mission of furnishing the new houses and apartments of individuals transitioning out of homelessness.

The event was so successful, we did it again in 2024!

Breaking Bread with Sheriff Hall

March 30, 2023

Justice Circle Nashville put on their quarterly Breaking Bread luncheon event in March 2023, this time with special speaker Sheriff Daron Hall. Unforeseeable tragedies placed this particular Breaking Bread on a week where Nashville and Sheriff Hall were in the national news. Sheriff Hall delivered a passionate speech about everything he had achieved, as well as his shortcomings, and everything he intended to achieve in the future.

Breaking Bread with Marcus Vasquez

January 20th, 2022

We had an amazing Breaking Bread event at Justice Circle Nashville, where Marcus Vazquez spoke about his story was one of courage, willpower, and overcoming.

As his story moved us all, we spoke on what it truly means to have a purpose in the Lord. This purpose God gives us is the driving force for how we reach out to others.

We thank Marcus Vazquez for speaking and wish him many blessings in the years to come.

2021 Fall Fest

October 27, 2021

Fall Fest was a huge success – as it is every year we put it on! Not only were the kids excited to see what candy they could get their hands on, but the families were also happy.

We saw a large turnout. We were able to reach out to others in the community through telling them about the various ministries 510 Foundation has to offer, and through music, treats, and fun.

Rise & Shine Breakfast Fundraiser

October 7, 2021

Our inaugural Rise & Shine breakfast fundraiser was marvelous! This was a fun and yummy way of presenting awards to our ministry leaders and raising funds for our important ministries.

Even though many people still tuned in online, we had a great in-person turnout. Seeing others come out in support of our ministries was phenomenal and encouraging to all involved.

In the end, we raised over $2,000 in the silent auction, and had various awards given out to esteemed in our community, letting them know we appreciate the difference they make.

Breaking Bread

September 16, 2021

Breaking Bread was put on through Justice Circle Nashville, a ministry of the 510 Foundation.

This periodic event promotes racial and cultural unity in our city. Breaking Bread encourages dialogue about topics that effect culture in our city today. There was a good turnout and great conversation.

We can’t wait to see what else God has in store for Justice Circle Nashville, and can’t wait for the next Breaking Bread event!

Act Now Listening Session

March 8 & 15, 2021

Nashville Justice Circle is always looking for events to bring difficult discussions to the table.

This Listening Session was like none other! The event was comprised of grassroots community members who are interconnected by common humanity and shared interests. With the purpose of listening to the voices of the marginalized and often ignored corners of our community the hope was to address social challenges and opportunities related to community safety.

We would love to see you as part of the ACT NOW national initiative, and hope to see you at the next meeting.
