Dr. Maromy Samuel is a boarded medical doctor in Haiti, and an Elder of the Church of the Nazarene. Maromy believes that accessibility to medical care, education for self-reliance, and micro-economics empowerment create a fertile ground for a sustainable life within the communities. He established Reaching Beyond International (RBI), a division of the 510 Foundation, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2014.
He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Lumiere University in Haiti and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University, in Nashville, Tennessee.
His experience in working with Doctors without Borders, his work at Saint-Nicolas hospital and his establishment of a medical center in St Marc Haiti, has equipped him to lead RBI to accomplish its various program objectives.
Married to Nahomie Sidel, he continues to find time for family life and ministry.
Claude Lataillade supports RBI’s mission in various ways, primarily with RBI’s medical clinic project in Pernier II, Haiti.
Having graduated from University of Michigan with a BSEE and Loyola Marymount University with an MS in Computer Science and Pepperdine University with an MBA, Claude is well equipped for the various tasks required support the various program objectives of RBI.
With his wife of 35 years, Vicki Mack Lataillade, Claude founded Gospo Centric Records, and changed the face of Gospel with artists such as Kirk Franklin, God’s Property, Kurt Carr, Trinitee 5:7, and PapaSan. Claude and his wife continued to help expand the Gospel presence in popular culture.
Claude was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He immigrated to the United States in 1954, and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Now as a co-owner of Central South Distribution, a privately held company, specializing in the distribution of faith based music products from independent labels and artists, he continues to provide business affairs and accounting support as needed.
Claude and his wife continue to manage their publishing company, Lilly Mack Publishing. They have received over 10 BMI music awards, and a Grammy as a publisher.
Mr. Lataillade is an Elder of Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, California. Claude and Vicki have two daughters, Shamael and Nadia.
Audrey Robinson Blakeman has been an active member of the Church of the Nazarene for over 30 years. At a young age, she lived in Japan then moved to Maine where she grew up. She accepted Christ as her Savior in Glorieta, New Mexico during a retreat for college and career students.
Her heart has always been for outreach ministry. God has placed her in bus ministry, homeless ministry, children’s ministry and now in public schools as a teacher to children for whom English is not their first language. When God calls, she willingly answers “Yes” to His call.
Audrey is happily married to Steve. They have two adult children and one granddaughter.
Melanie Van Mullen is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University in 1985. She has been a Physician Assistant for 30 years.
She worked for the Department of Veteran Affairs for 26 years in long-term care and hospice & palliative care.
She has attended Nashville First Church of the Nazarene since she was a student of Trevecca Nazarene University. She has gone on mission trips to Haiti, Kenya, Switzerland, and Costa Rica.
Melanie is very thankful for the opportunity to service on the board of RBI.
