Doug Xanders currently serves as the Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield. He brings 30+ years of experience in project management for numerous office, retail, healthcare and industrial clients. He is responsible for providing strategic planning, construction project management and workplace strategies for the Tennessee market.

Prior to working at Cushman & Wakefield, Doug was the Director of Workplace Strategy and Construction for Asurion, LLC. He was responsible for adding over one million square footage of office and call center space. He also created workplace strategies that improved talent recruiting and employee engagement.

The culmination of Doug’s work can be seen in the new 550,000 square foot global head-quarters Asurion is opening in 2021. Prior to joining Asurion in 2011, Doug was the Director of Engineering and Construction for CBRE on the BP account. He led a team of 15 in upgrading the utilities and infrastructure at BP’s campus in Naperville, IL.

Doug received a BS in Architecture from the University of Illinois. He has also received several awards, such as, the Mission Impossible Award for performance in Deepwater Horizon in 2010, and CBRE Project Management Award for top profitability and exceeding KPI’s in 2009.

He has served on the Board of Directors for both CareNet Global and the 510 Foundation.
