Our Purpose
To show Christ to Nashville immigrants by providing English language classes and facilitating United States cultural integration.
To assist students with developing English language skills so they can self-confidently seek out further education and contribute to society in the United States.
To promote multicultural communication and understanding by developing friendships with individuals from different countries and cultures, as well as a broadened self-perspective on life and living, both in the US and elsewhere.

Learn English in a one-on-one setting
Students will have the opportunity to learn fundamental and conversational English language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) through one-on-one tutor sessions. We provide research-based curriculum (Cambridge Ventures) at a cost of $40 per student. We gladly accept donations in order to provide a limited number of scholarships for new students.
Serve as an English Language tutor
We need English Language tutors willing to commit 2-3 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months. Schedule is flexible based on availability of the tutor and student. Online and in-person options available.
No prior tutoring experience necessary – only a desire to engage in relational learning with your assigned student! 510 Foundation will provide initial tutor training and ongoing support.
Communication Junction
Join us at our monthly Communication Junction, held at Nashville First Church of the Nazarene. This event provides an opportunity to engage in multicultural fellowship, experience spiritual growth, and build new cross-cultural friendships. We hope to see you there!
Additional Resources
We are excited to engage in partnership with the Nashville Literacy Council as we move forward in language ministry!
