Formerly known as Cheryl’s List, House2Home Nashville is making a huge impact in the Nashville area by turning empty rooms into homes for formerly homeless families. Free pick-up is provided for well-maintained furniture and clean housewares that, in turn, are delivered free of charge to recently homeless families.

The Mission of House2Home Nashville
Bringing HOPE by turning empty rooms into homes: providing beds and gently used furnishings to recently unhoused people.
The idea came from watching people give and receive in a Sunday school class. We especially remember a beautiful Christian member of that class who, though battling cancer herself, made lists to meet needs and organize the first delivery that became the inspiration for the mission of House2Home Nashville.
House2Home Nashville Today
House2Home Nashville began picking up and delivering furniture in 2014 using our own vehicles, a rented storage unit, and personal garages. Today, House2Home Nashville is a volunteer division of the 510 Foundation with a warehouse, 2 box trucks, and a track record of having picked up donations from 1,300+ households, having delivered beds and other household items to 1,300+ households, and having raised over $200,000 for new beds. We currently partner with over 75 service agencies in Davidson County in an effort to help the recently homeless get a new start.
You can volunteer with House2Home Nashville in 3 ways:
- You can donate gently used furniture and basic household items.
- You can give money to help with warehouse expenses or to buy new beds.
- You can spend 2-3 hours per week or per month helping to prepare and/or deliver items to recipients or to pickup items from donors.
