To love, inspire, foster, and educate children in need of intervention.

MISSION:

The mission of LIFE Academy is to provide an after school tutoring program that provides intervention to low performing students while nurturing the whole child through a Christ-centered environment.

GOALS:

  • Ignite passion for life-long learning.
  • Improve literacy competency skills to accomplish grade-level academic success.
  • Provide application and apply school-day skills to promote confidence in students.
  • Enhance student’s learning experience through daily enrichment sessions in the following:
    • Health & Sports
    • Arts-Music & Dance
    • Service Learning Project
    • Community Resources
  • Promote caring and cooperative social interaction for peaceful communal engagement.
  • Teach Biblical truths in a Christian context.

TARGETED PARTICIPANTS:

35 Kindergarten and/or First Grade students from the East Nashville Community.

WHEN:

Monday – Thursday 3:45-6:45pm
Friday – Staff Connection Day
