Eric Jans is an independent health and life insurance broker. Having been in business over 16 years, Eric is often called upon by local and national news outlets for his insurance expertise and has been featured in The Tennessean, Politico, WSMV and CBS This Morning.
Licensed in 15 states, Eric has served on Agent Advisory Panels for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Humana and CIGNA. Eric is the Secretary of the board for the 510 Foundation. He has also served in the past as President for the Historic East Nashville Merchants Association, Rediscover East, and Lockeland Springs Neighborhood Association as well as Chair of Chamber East, one of the Nashville Chamber’s advisory boards.
Eric was named East Nashvillian Of the Year in 2011 as well as a 2010 Finalist in Nashville’s Emerging Leaders Award (NELA).
Eric and his wife Wendy founded LoveBooks, a children’s book ministry in 2015. He volunteers with homeless and refugee organizations and initiatives in Nashville and at his church.
Eric holds a BA in Communications/Electronic Media from The University of Northern Iowa.
